WHAT IS HENNA?

Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup.  A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a more cool colour tone that is absolutely perfect for eyebrows.

Henna is a unique, high quality eyebrow tint that is natural, vegan friendly, and is gentle on the skin and brows hairs. There are a range of colours to choose from, and colours can also be blended to create bespoke shades to suit your hair colour and skin tone. Unlike normal brow tint, the eyebrow henna will stain the skin for up to 2 weeks and the brow hairs for up to 6 weeks which means it’s a better option for those who have sparse brows. It’s a longer lasting, easy solution to getting better shaped brows, and is the perfect treatment for those clients who may not be ready to commit to an eyebrow tattoo.

What's the difference between regular tint and henna brows?

Regular eyebrow tint will only tint the hairs and lasts anywhere from 2-4 weeks. It is great for those that are happy with their eyebrow shape and don't require any other shaping.

Henna brows produce longer lasting results. Lasting up to 6 weeks on the hairs, it also tints the skin which is great if you would like a better shape to your brows.  It fills in anywhere you have gaps.  

Henna Brows Treatment Process

Consultation

From brushed up brows to neat and defined, choosing the right brow look can be difficult. That’s why every HD Brows treatment starts with a consultation where our Stylists help you based on your face shape, skin tone and of course, your style.

Mapping

Then, to assure accuracy, we map the brows appropriately. In order to enhance your characteristics, this phase makes sure that your brows are symmetrical and in line with your facial structure.

Cleansing

The first step for henna brows is all about cleansing and removing any oils from the skin.  This is to ensure that your skin is super clean and ready for the henna.

Reshape

After your eyebrows are clean, they are then measured and shaped which also allows you to have some input before the process goes ahead. A white paste is applied around your eyebrows that acts as a barrier and is what gives you the sharp, defined lines of your new eyebrow shape.

Henna

This part of the process is delicate and very carefully applied.  The henna has to be pushed onto the skin to ensure it sits in between the hairs to give you that fuller effect. Once it is evenly applied and super sharp, it will sit there for about 10 - 20 minutes.  

Tweezing and finishing

We’re perfectionists, so this is where we work to make those fresh brows even fresher. If necessary, your stylist will tweeze any stray hairs, trim unruly hairs down and create a finish that suits your style using quality brow make up range.

Aftercare

Your stylist will finish the treatment with some aftercare advice to help you maintain your results, along with some product recommendations. This is especially important if you’re on a re-growth programme, working towards your dream brows.
